TOKYO, November 30, 2016- Pasona Group Inc. has opened applications for the 2017 Pasona International Exchange Program in the USA, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Indonesia, and Vietnam, inviting top undergraduate and graduate students from abroad to gain business experience firsthand through internships at Japanese companies.
Pasona Group established the program in 1988 as part of CSR activities to give exemplary university students from overseas the opportunity to attain business experiences in Japan. Next year marks the 30th year of the program. To date, 446 foreign students have received training at approximately 130 companies through the program.
Applications for the 2017 Pasona International Exchange Program, which begins next summer, are currently being accepted in the USA, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Indonesia, and Vietnam. Over the course of approximately two months, the program offers participating students a chance to gain valuable business skills at their respective host companies, experiencing Japanese culture and mingling with students from many different backgrounds in the process.
Through the program, Pasona Group hopes not only to provide experiences that will deepen the students’ understandings of Japanese society, business, and culture, allowing them to serve as bridges between Japan and their home countries, but also to contribute to the further development of Japanese businesses.

| Internship Contents |
June 29th / 30th – Orientation (business etiquette training, culture exchange, etc.)
July 3rd – Internships at host companies commence (until August 25th)
Mid-July – Cultural exchange event (Japanese cultural experiences)
August 25th – Final presentation (regarding the internship), Farewell Party
Note: Program schedule is subject to change. |
| Compensation |
・Round-trip airfare will be covered by Pasona Group.
・Housing (e.g. company dormitories) will be arranged by each host company. During the internship period, a total of ¥240,000 will be provided for living expenses (commuting and business travel expenses provided separately). |
